In view of safety related modernisation works in Chakradharpur Division, some train services will be regulated on specific dates to facilitate the safe and smooth execution of the works.
Cancellation of Train Services
The following train services will remain cancelled on the dates mentioned below:
• Train No. 18309 Sambalpur Jn–Jammu Tawi will remain cancelled on 22, 24 and 26 September 2026, while Train No. 18310 Jammu Tawi–Sambalpur Jn will remain cancelled on 25, 27 and 29 September 2026.
• Train No. 22861 Howrah–Kantabanji Ispat Express will remain cancelled on 25, 27 and 29 September and 1 and 2 October 2026, while Train No. 22862 Kantabanji–Howrah Ispat Express will remain cancelled on 26, 28 and 30 September and 2 and 3 October 2026.
• Train No. 12871 Howrah–Junagarh Road Ispat Express will remain cancelled on 26, 28 and 30 September 2026, while Train No. 12872 Junagarh Road–Howrah Ispat Express will remain cancelled on 27 and 29 September and 1 October 2026.
• Train No. 15028 Gorakhpur Jn–Sambalpur Maurya Express will remain cancelled on 1 October 2026, while Train No. 15027 Sambalpur–Gorakhpur Jn Maurya Express will remain cancelled on 3 October 2026.
• Train No. 18452/18451 Puri–Hatia–Puri Tapaswini Express will remain cancelled in both directions on October 2, 2026.
Diversion of Train Services
The following train services will be diverted via alternative routes on the dates mentioned below:
• Train No. 20818 New Delhi–Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express, scheduled to commence its journey on 27 September 2026, will be diverted from its existing route of NSC Bose Jn–Gomo–Anara–Purulia Jn–Chandil Jn–Chakradharpur–Rourkela–Jharsuguda–Cuttack and will run via NSC Bose Jn–Gomo–Adra–Midnapore–Hijli–Bhadrak–Cuttack.
• Similarly, Train No. 18477 Puri–Yog Nagari Rishikesh Express, scheduled to commence its journey on 30 September and 1 October 2026, will be diverted from its existing route of Cuttack–Bhadrak–Hijli–Tatanagar–Rourkela–Jharsuguda–IB and will run via Cuttack–Sambalpur City–Jharsuguda Road–IB.
