Incident on Bhadrak–Dhamara Private Siding
Bhubaneswar, June 7, 2026:
An unfortunate incident involving a motorcycle rider occurred today at a level crossing on the Bhadrak–Dhamara rail connectivity line between Gurudaspur and Tihidi, resulting in a fatality.
The incident took place on a private siding owned, operated, and managed by Dhamra Port Company Limited (DPCL).
The maintenance, safety management, and administration of this rail infrastructure, including level crossing arrangements and operations, are the responsibility of DPCL.
Indian Railways has no operational or administrative jurisdiction over this private siding and is not involved in its management.
