A minor smoke and fire was noticed today around 8.30 PM in the scrap deposit line area of the Coaching Depot at Mancheswar Workshop, Bhubaneswar. On receiving the information, the matter was immediately attended to by the depot staff. It was promptly controlled with the help of the internal available resources at the workshop.
The situation was brought under control quickly and effectively. There has been no damage to any railway property, infrastructure, or rolling stock, and no injury to any person has been reported.
The situation is completely normal and under control.
