AND DIVERSION OF TRAINS DUE TO CYCLONE MONTHA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In view of the imminent Cyclone MONTHA and in the interest of passenger safety, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced the cancellation, diversion, and short termination of several coaching trains operating in the Waltair region and connected routes.<br>These measures are purely precautionary, based on alerts and forecasts issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).<br>Cancelled Trains<br>The following trains have been cancelled to ensure the safety and convenience of passengers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol 27.10.2025 will be short terminated at Rayagada.<br>\u2022 Train No. 18107 Rourkela\u2013Jagdalpur Intecity Express leaving Rourkela on 27.10.2025 will be short terminated at Rayagada.<br>Precautionary and Safety Measures Taken by ECoR<br>To manage the situation efficiently and ensure passenger safety, the following measures have been put in place:<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Round-the-clock monitoring and activation of Emergency Control at all Divisional Headquarters.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continuous coordination with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) for real-time updates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoration teams ready at important stations for immediate response.
