<\/figure>\n\n\n\nEast Coast Railway has made various arrangements to manage the increased passenger rush, including the operation of special trains, enhanced security arrangements with the deployment of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel, and close monitoring of passenger movement. However, the effectiveness of these arrangements largely depends on the cooperation, discipline and responsible behaviour of passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Passengers have been advised to maintain orderly queues while entering and exiting stations, purchasing tickets and boarding trains. They should avoid rushing, pushing or creating unnecessary congestion, particularly on Foot Over Bridges (FOBs), escalators, staircases and near platform edges. Passengers are also requested to use designated holding areas wherever provided and wait there until their respective trains are ready for boarding to prevent overcrowding on platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ECoR has further urged passengers to follow the instructions of RPF, GRP and other railway officials deployed at stations for crowd management. Travellers should reach stations well before their scheduled departure, pay attention to public announcements, verify platform numbers and board trains in an orderly manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Railway has also cautioned passengers against unsafe and prohibited practices. Travelling on footboards, buffers or rooftops of trains is extremely dangerous and punishable under railway rules. Crossing railway tracks is strictly prohibited, and passengers must always use Foot Over Bridges or designated subway facilities to move between platforms. Unnecessary pulling of alarm chains causes avoidable delays and inconvenience to other passengers and may invite legal action. Carrying inflammable materials, firecrackers and other prohibited items on trains or railway premises is strictly prohibited.
