{"id":12400,"date":"2026-09-24T14:27:25","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T14:27:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pramad.in\/?p=12400"},"modified":"2026-09-24T14:27:25","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T14:27:25","slug":"puja-special-trains-to-meet-festive-rush","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pramad.in\/?p=12400","title":{"rendered":"Puja Special Trains to Meet Festive Rush"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"\">Bhubaneswar, September 24, 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">In view of the anticipated increase in passenger traffic during the upcoming Durga Puja and Diwali festive season, additional Puja Special Trains will be operated on important routes to facilitate the comfortable journey of passengers and clear the extra rush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Puri\u2013Santragachi\u2013Puri Puja Special<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Train No. 08405 Puri\u2013Santragachi Puja Special will run every Monday from 5 October to 26 October 2026, while Train No. 08406 Santragachi\u2013Puri Puja Special will run every Tuesday from 6 October to 27 October 2026.<br>Train No. 08405 will depart Puri at 17:45 hrs and reach Santragachi at 03:45 hrs the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 08406 will depart Santragachi at 08:45 hrs and arrive at Puri at 19:00 hrs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Stoppages:<br>The trains will have stoppages at Sakhigopal, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Baleshwar, Rupsa, Jaleswar, Belda and Kharagpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Coach Composition:<br>The special train will comprise 18 LHB coaches<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">\u2022 AC 2-Tier \u2013 01 Coach<br>\u2022 AC 3-Tier \u2013 03 Coaches<br>\u2022 Sleeper Class \u2013 08 Coaches<br>\u2022 General- 4 Coaches<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Luggage-cum-Generator-cum-Brake Van with Divyang-friendly facility \u2013 02 Coaches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Shalimar\u2013Khurda Road\u2013Shalimar Puja Special<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Train No. 08043 Shalimar\u2013Khurda Road Puja Special will run every Monday from 12 October to 9 November 2026. In the return direction, Train No. 08044 Khurda Road\u2013Shalimar Puja Special will run every Tuesday from 13 October to 10 November 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Train No. 08043 will depart Shalimar at 17:55 hrs and arrive at Khurda Road at 02:45 hrs the next day.
