General Manager, East Coast Railway, Shri Parameswar Funkwal inspected the Rayagada\u2013Koraput\u2013Jeypore Railway Section and reviewed the overall operations, safety and infrastructure development works in the section.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the inspection, General Manager undertook window trailing from Rayagada to Jeypore and reviewed the condition of the railway track, signalling, operation and ongoing infrastructure works along the route. He also took stock of the ongoing doubling work in the Singapur Road\u2013Koraput section, including the progress of major Engineering works being executed as part of the project.The project is of significant importance for enhancing line capacity, facilitating smoother train operations and strengthening rail connectivity in the region and support the overall socio-economic development of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shri Funkwal reviewed various safety aspects and measures for ensuring safe and efficient train movement in the section. He also reviewed passenger amenities at stations, infrastructure development, cleanliness and the progress of works being undertaken under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He stressed the need for timely execution of development works while maintaining quality, work site safety and ensuring minimum inconvenience to passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the inspection, General Manager emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability and passenger service and also urged the officials to closely monitor the progress of ongoing works and ensure their timely completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
